Various obstacles created a very long hiatus. Nonetheless, we're back with new material at last!

We're on hiatus for a month. Enjoy this for now. That's assuming anyone is actually listening. And if you're not listening, you won't enjoy it. And if you can't read this, you can't see it. And if I can't see you, you can't see me, and.... yeah. Now you know why we need a hiatus.

The Chestnut Hill Improv Group is back. There will be a slight pause while you say, "Who cares?"

We had to take a few weeks off due to illness, but now we're back and worse than ever.

Aliens took over our recording equipment and messed up the sound quality. Other than that, we're pretty funny this week, so take a listen.

Phyllis was ill for a while, so we had to take about a month off. She's still taking it easy for a while, but she was well enough for us to get back to work this past weekend, so here we are- the first new C.H.I.G. material in a month!
Bad news is I'm going on vacation, so we'll be off again until July.

After a month-long break for the holiday season, the Chestnut Hill Improv Group returned in January with new material. Unfortunately, Joe was ill at the time, which explains his raspiness in this and subsequent sessions, but nonetheless we had so much fun in this session that we did a third scene in addition to the usual two, something we've only done once to date. Hello, everyone, and welcome to the new and improved Chestnut Hill Improv Group podcast! We were originally on another podcast-hosting site, but that site seems to have temporarily gone kaput, so I figured I should move our podcast to a new site, namely this one.
Who are the Chestnut Hill Improv Group, you ask? We are a team of comedians who do old-time-radio-inspired improv comedy podcasts. The group consists of my cousin Joe McCann, my friend Phyllis Gosfield, and yours truly, Andrew Gilmore, the founder of the group.
We started meeting back in December, and for the benefit of people who never heard us on the old site, I decided to go through our archives and begin posting our old stuff on the new site, and will eventually start posting our new stuff once I've gone through the archives. This particular episode consists of the sketches we created during our first meeting on December 16th, 2009. Enjoy!
